House of Wisdom age-up animation doesn’t display if image quality is “Low” and animation settings are “Low”. It only works on “Medium” or above settings.
It’s important to fix this because it’s a competitive advantage to see what wing the opponent is going so that you can plan around it, and some people (like myself) prefer lower settings or can’t afford a good enough computer for the higher settings.
