How to actualy Debug in Content Editor Properly?

Hey,

How do I actually run my mod from within the content editor and debug it like in any other IDE? I am doing

Clicking build and play just says I cannot launch it.

I am creating a “Game Mod”

I have to launch the mode myself in the game, which means I cannot debug it.

Are there any resources on this?

Have you tried the unofficial Aoe4 modding discord. I think in steam you add -dev and get console in game. But better to check discord

Hey yes, I disocvered them yesterday and found the article that helped me

If anyone else is looking.

That discord does really appear to be the only resource for modding help in AOE IV
