I recently bought AOE2 DE because I wanted to play 256x tech on new civs. Now I have found that I missed previous event which enabled the cheat code for the same. I downloaded mods too but they cause game to crash.
Any help on what I can do to play stable 256x tech mod? TIA.
Did you download Trinth’s x256? (Or a name close to that one, not sure)
If you did, I suggest not starting a game on post imp if that’s what you did.
I am using same mod. I do standard start only, but game crashes after 10-15 mins.
Hopefully cheat codes will soon be unlocked for everybody regardless of whether they participated in event.
devs, when can we all access the “Going Above and Beyond” cheatcode?
I tried to use the cheat code in single player and it worked the cheat code is “going above and beyond”
i don’t know weather it works on multiplayer or not or weather the other event cheats work or not

If I use going above and beyond (with or without caps) it just sends that message.
Tried the Trinh (something like that) and a couple of well rated 256x mod and I had 0 luck. Am I missing some step?

At this point I am also at a loss I can use the cheat code and I don’t think I did the event
Also another thing that can help is that when I sent the last massage I was loged out of Xbox live or what ever the thing for online play is
So that might help but other than that I don’t know
