How to improve House of Lancaster

Ive got an eureka about improving House of Lancaster. Here it is:

Indroduce a new system land tax. Which can be set from the manors . Here is how it works, there are 3 options:

  • low tax (Manors produce 20 food 5 gold. Unit production time and cost reduced by 25% )
  • normal tax (manors produce 40 food 10 gold. Unit production normal.)
  • high tax (manors produce 60 food 20 gold. Unit production time and cost increased to 200% in other words doubled.)

Once a tax lvl is selected the player can not change it again for 2 or 3 minutes. It is not a complex mechanic keeping lancaster at lvl 1 complexity but still makes it strategic and interesting to play without being op. Gold production of manors should still be researched in imperial age. As for wood it should be removed.

I can see it now Drongo comenting something like, here it is low tax is coming he is preparing for a push or be carefull mate dont lose your army just yet your troops cost double now you got 2 min remaining on high tax.

What do you guys think???

Heres an idea, maybe not give the civ early knights, longbows, and a castle in fuedal?

Just a thought. If i have to manage OTD with the awful gilded knight in castle age, then i should not be outclassed by this so called “royal faction” whos throwing 7 heavy knights at me before i can even build up a defense

Yea they should lock manors to 3 in feaudal 3 in castle and 3 in imperial. It is mentioned by the comunity many times now so I did not bothered to mention it here but you are right 3 demilancers in feaudal is all that they should get.
