AOE(dot)com: a new product placement site. Bravo!!! No need to discuss since you are comparing two different RTS sub-genres, with two different setting, with two different styles, with two different development studio, with two different publisher, with two different goals, with two different targeted audience, with two different core game play mechanics. So…what is there to discuss? Should AOE become a new clone of starcracft/warcraft?

Starcraft Remastered had already some ranking system at its release.
Now 1 year after, he got the patch 1.22 with a revamp of its ladder.
Well, AoE DE has some work to do if it want to progress at same level…
AOE DE have every day more less player ( in multiplayer ) cause they dont put a rannking system, and is 5 month they dont release any improvement or bug fixes , they leave the game die…

So the issue in general is no support no develeop of the game, in particular this game in 2018 have no rating… pathfinding and BAD AI is a problem that need to rewrite the source code of the game, ELO is an improvement that’s its needed but i think at this point its too late
