This womake their transition from castle age, with light cav, camels and skirms, to imp with CA less awkward.

i don’t care about players preferences, but the civ is winning, the civ is quite good for 1x1 according for good players and even to pros, only forum warriors says they are bad for it 11.
Just to show you how you guys don’t even play the game instead of just posting hypothetical things, there are no lag complains in these forums yet the game is unplayable with a lot of stutter since last patch, so i invite you to play 1x1, looking for those outdated stats would have a been a good 1x1 with indians.

Nothing, I would give their Extra Pierce armor only on their Camels, not Light Cav too. Like it was leaked in the Battle Royale Event.

It’s not classed by pick rate, it is indeed classed by winrate, also I’m pretty much sure it was the basis of your claim that Indian have one of the highest winrates at 1650 ELO.
I mean after the change was revealed and before it was shown the light cav would get the compensation too it would be legitimate to worry about the nerf since it would restrict the civ’s option in 1v1, especially the late game. Now it is indeed more debatable.
I didn’t experience stutters online, ig I’m luckier than you are. Tho the slow and ugly new menus did cause their fair share of complaints there like everywhere else.

Elephant archers dont need a buff. Indians need arbalests. Elephant archers are basically the love child of a ram and an archer. They are extremely good tanks against archer fire. Without elite upgrade but otherwise FU they tank 300 arbalest shots and still take abour 40 skirm shots. The only problem is that indians lack arbalests. So there is nothing EAs can tank for. You cant mass them. Too slow, producing from castles and too expensive, so you just need arbalests with them. That alone would solve all problems indians have right now. Would be a great buff for 1v1,not too impactful for team games and give the ea the role it so desperately needs
So you’re thinking of making the ele archer the land version of the turtle ship. I’d rather them be able to fire while moving, low range, slow, doable without breaking the balance and would make them worthwhile.
As a sort of historical “nod” make their barracks units cost -10, -20, -30 food per age at Feudal (this includes their spear line).
There was discussion about leitis not having a true identity as UU, so having superior raw power than more expensive units doesn’t make sense, reducing that brute power to one single type of units instead of killing their counterparts with 3 hits is still a good option, but you can’t understand that, go play with cobra cars dude, rts can’t have units that breaks the balance having minimal counters while most units have 2 counters at least.
And about slavs yeah all pros says that but no one has ever used them in tournaments as first 5 civ choice how weird maybe the civ and its bonus isn’t other thing that just overrated comments, unlike khmer farming bonus which was granting a great advantage as it has been seen in tournaments and most games actually and slavs well even when their farmers were 15% faster the things were just about the same.
the leitis had just as many counters as any heavy cavalry did, and now it has more then every heavy cavalry in the game.
Except that both Ram and Archer cost wood while EA cost food.
We should start with Elephant Archer rework. Since that unit already needs addressing.

here’s the thing, the problem with elephant unique units isn’t the damage output they do. it’s the cost + the fact that monks wreck them + the slow to mass due to castle requirement.
Monks are supposed to be their counter. But with more los it would be easier to manage. Also they can wreck low pierce Armor monks once in range.
Castle requirement and being expensive is fine. They are supposed to supplement the army. Wood cost will make things a bit better. But they should never be the main bulk of army.
