Hybrid Formation with multiple units

Hi,

I would really like if it is possible to combine various units like cavalry, archers and artillery units in a way that cavalry protect archers and artillery and archers in turn provide cover to cavalry and artillery provide long range support. I would really like my units to be organized and have option to fight like army instead of single units.

What do you guys think?

I think this would be a good feature for a new game “AOE IV” but as for AOE and AOE ROR this would change the dynamics of the game. It was a skilled player that could control his archers whilst protecting the catapults just as an example.
