The AoE3 one is so far in terms of realism, it could have been called anything else.

It’s really supposed to be an ostrog, a small wooden fort that was often the foundation of future russian towns. I guess the name was chosen because it’s the closest english (german really ^^) term resembling the concept.

Ah - today I learned!
Well, with that in mind, I wonder if the Devs could change its name? It’s a drop in the ocean compared to changing skins and would help with the immersion. Would also free-up ‘Blockhouse’ as something more universal, for everyone
