Still if it’s a bug, then it’s more into the bug section you should report it, or is it mentionned in the patchnote ?

Then it has nothing to do in discussion, and it should have been posted into the Bug Report section.
The point of this post wasn’t to highlight the fact that this is a bug that needs to be fixed, but the fact that OP is upset about how this new patch ruined his progress. he’s voicing his anger. something those other people you mentioned do as well.

btw, the bug report forum already has a post about this. you should like it and leave a comment if you haven’t already, to give engagement, so this can be fixed as quickly as possible.
My medals were taken away too. This is really unacceptable behavior for the dev team of Age of AOE2.

Been playin the game since MSN Gaming Zone since it was first released. Bought it twice on Steam when they discontinued the first version on steam.

I still mainting I love that this guy was more concerned by the medals than anything else. It wasn’t sarcasm, it was real admiration that someone could just be that much dedicated to something as simple as … Having back the gold medals he worked for.
Compared to other complains, this one is legitime. The author here basically care more about the time he would have to respend to redo all the gold medal on every new dlc release, than the dlc content at all. And that was the thing that made me laught, because I think this is a beautiful way of playing the game.
Are the achivement also broken ? Or just the medals ?
I’ve checked the patchnote and saw nothing that tells anything about medal reseting.
I also saw that medal thing, and on playing the new V&V mission, I get a medal once completed. So medal system is still alive.

So what happens with the medals ? Is it now :
New very hard : gold
Old hard : silver, used to be gold
Old intermediate : bronze, used to be silver
Old easy : new medal, used to be bronze
New very easy : new medal
Has that veen implemented on the old campaigns yet?
Maybe it will roll out over time?
Its not trivial to give every scenario 2 additional difficulties.
I dont mind them getting it done later
