I met him in a race where he used Mali to find almost all of my farmers in the dark and kept killing them.
He also called me names in the game and in turn called me a map hacker. Since his behavior was suspicious, I checked the video after the game and found that he started in the dark using a farmer’s straight line to find gold mines and deer, with no scouts or exploration perspective. Then I checked his other videos and found this behavior in almost every match, so I can confirm that he is the map hacker!
I hope the game master can permanently ban his account instead of just banning him for a few days, that will have no deterrent effect on cheaters, they will keep coming back and destroying the game environment until we players who like fairness leave the game for good!
From the birth of this game to the present, I have encountered a lot of map hackers, reported in the game, but have not been successful. I think game admins condone this behavior, which is one of the reasons why cheaters are rampant. Therefore, I left this game for a long time. It wasn’t until I saw on Beastyqt’s live stream that a certain cheater was permanently banned that I decided to come back and play. So I hope the administrators seriously punish the cheaters and make sure they don’t have any chance to come back!
He has an extremely long visual range that he can adjust freely, and knows the enemy’s position throughout the game without exploring the map, and knows where the attacker is.

Upload like 1 minute of recording to youtube as unlisted video, include a link to that video in a support ticket with appropriate details.
Forum posts aren’t actioned, you need to file a proper report in a support ticket.

Today another map hacker can see my farmers in the dark, he has a super-far view, uses ninjas to find all my farmers and slaughter them, he is not afraid of my warning, he is not afraid of being permanently banned.

I reported four people, all with detailed user information, cheating time, STEAMID, recording the cheater’s video to YT, but they just repeatedly replied that I needed to submit the above content, I think they didn’t read my submission at all, the game master doesn’t care about this, why should we waste time doing it? I was very disappointed with them and decided to give up the game. I hope you stay and have fun with the crooks.
Yesterday I played a 4v4 where 2 of my team and 2 of the other team were maphacking. Right now it seems to be too generalised, is usual than a half of the players of a team match is hacking.
Although the cheaters are very obvious and can be identified at a glance, they don’t care, they just repeatedly ask you to submit evidence, have you ever wondered why this is? I already have a rough idea.
What saddens me most is not that I lost to the cheaters, but that the game management team didn’t care about the game, that they had no passion for the game.
If I have to take care of record videos, upload to YouTube and report to support, I prefer to not play the game.
Too work for something support must be doing by theirselves.
I am fairly certain that I reported Ala⎛⎝.⎝⏝⏝⎠.⎠⎞alA like a month ago, but no action was taken. I have sort of give up on reporting people. Even the most blatantly obvious of cheaters are often times not punished.
The burden of evidence has to be high to prevent innocent people getting banned. At the same time, this means that cheaters will get to continue for longer than they would under a stricter system.
It’s about balancing the frustrations. I doubt you’d want to be permabanned on nothing but somebody’s word, a screenshot, and maybe a video (all of which can be modified before upload). All reports have to be verified, and this leads to overhead. I can only imagine the volume of tickets they get.
Another thing that really annoys me recently is that if I queue up with random people in team ranked and one person leaves during game load, then the result tends to be that everyone else on the team leaves in the first minute of the match. This results in me getting a wait penalty for queuing in addition to a loss caused by a person I don’t even know. This happened to me twice in one day. This seems like a pretty broken mechanic.
I feel like that would be justified to a greater extent if the bans were permanent rather than for a few days or a week.
Putting in all that effort only for the cheater to just have to rotate to one of their other accounts while they wait for the ban to be lifted is rather disheartening.
