They are very weak in the late game,so I made a little local mod.Chinese can send a card in age 4,this card will cost some resources but it will significantly improve their Artilleries.
Some of our friend may want to ask me why I give handmortar so many bonus,just because I am a beginner of making mods,so when I tried to simply improve the basic damage,I faced a bug,lol.So I have to do so.After that,I receive a weaker light cannon,no longer a mortar,just like what they are in history.
But I don’t care about the flamethrowers,they are rubbish.
And the name of this card is a battle we beaten the Russian Empire in Manchuria,and in this battle,we used our own weapons,but we improved them before this battle,and they have played a significant role.
why do they get bonuses against everything? wouldn’t it be easier to simply just double the dmg?
handmortars do seem like they need a buff though, they are very expensive on wood and even 10 to 1 they struggle dealing with culverins.
for me i would suggest either a 5x vs other artillery, or a 50% dmg boost but no pop change. should make them them more competitive with European artillery without removing their unique features.
And in history,they are like a weaker light cannon not Mortar although they looks like mortar,so I give them so many bonus,just make them like a weaker light cannon.
Infact their major problem is speed,they are too slow,especially in the late game.As for the range,in fact I don’t mind.But I wish the future update will improve their speed.
