Awesome. The people handling the game had less knowledge of what “campaign” means than some random user.

But they lied, because they lied.
Even if it was a mistake in the very beginning (let’s not ask why their “mistakes” always turn in their favor), they chose to double down on it and never admitted any mistake. That’s still typical corpo mentality

And someone is definitely far more upset when they were called lying, than those who “cry that I’ve been lied”

As far as I know, adulthood involves growing a spine and definitely does NOT involve thinking the corpo as your buddy or brother whose wrongdoings can be casually waved off on the breakfast table. Do they even know you?

I have already made it very clear:
They LIE when they already know the real product itself is going to be a letdown. To mislead as many people as possible into buying it, because unfortunately most people don’t follow all the news closely, and there are (they think) quite a lot of people who devours every corporate bs

When the quality speaks for itself, like the base game, BfG or some better received earlier DLCs, they didn’t need to lie.
The more the product sucks, rushed, scrapped, forced by some out-of-touch management, the more they lie. Or at least use ambiguities to their convenience, then double down on them when caught.
In those cases they always choose the marketing words with just the right amount of ambiguity to steer the focus elsewhere.

You still hadn’t answered what are the odds their unprofessionalism causes them to accidentally omit everything about 3K, the only controversial part, during early promotion.

I wonder why their unprofessionalism never affected their clarity about BfG, LoTW or DoTD, which all delivered exactly as they advertised.

And since we could easily see a big downhill trend of their works, per statistics we are going to see them lie more and more.

Edit: and it is a real trend
