@CountGriashnackh, I’m confused what your position is. First you said
but now you’re saying
These seem completely contradictory to me. Someone who is apathetic is not going to leave a review.

If the “silent majority” take one action, just one, like pushing the positive rate or player number substantially higher, I’d consider they exist.
In fact that did happen before. For example, a loud minority firmly defended V&V, and the silent majority gave it a mostly negative.
But when people intentionally bring that up, it was always copium. I never saw anyone said “the silent majority is against me”.
Clown post for a clown expac
You have reposted the same post, havent you??
Clowns dont deserve to be compared to people this obsesed with defending the multibillion companu
Bro, your opinions aren’t always wrong and many times I agree with you but the way you express them is most always in one sentence and many times including insults. This is the discussion section of the forums not the ad hominem section.
I 100% agree with this.
“Oh you stupid lul ur brain is fried, it makes no sense”
vs
“I understand this approach, but i completely disagree, because it ignores this, this, this and that, and focuses only on this and that, while the issue is more complex and all these things go hand in hand”.
See the difference? If someone is incorrect, then point out the inaccuracies in a respectful manner. It makes it much more probable that the person in question will see and understand that. If you insult them, then they most of the time will fight back, even if you have correct reasons in your reply (Which you actually don’t, most of the time). It’s appalling that so many people actually support the insults that go in their favor. Especially social media work that way. Insult over insult, belittlement over belittlement, instead of meaningful discussion.
I couldn’t care less if someone insulted me, no problems striking back sometimes. But a respectful discussion has a higher chance of being successful.
You mean World’s Edge deleting negative comments on their tweets?
I’d give this a positive review if the civs representing the 3K were moved to Chronicles and we saw more medieval-timeframe civs like Tanguts, Tibetans, and Dali being added to the main game.
Tweets, Instagram comments, YouTube comments. Just about everywhere they can
Let the free market speak for itself. A DLC that was bad in marketing and design should deserve having negative reviews for constructive feedback.
Very few people are going to review DLCs, and usually only prompted to do so if they have an issue.
If you like Three Kingdoms Pls support it on Steam
And if I don’t, what should I do?
Lemme guess their standard answer. They will tell you to shut up and leave the game quietly? Lol
They are obviously just buying the game and playing it. That episode of Town Center Podcast already confirmed that the DLC has sold the most out of any AoE2 DLC in history if not the entire.
In comparison to that a paltry amount of people malding in the Forums wouldn’t make such of a difference. People have already voted with their wallets.
This is the actual measurement of success.
It’s all corporations care about it. Just make slop that sells, nothing else matters.
Actually what they SAID but didn’t provide any evidence for was that PRE-ORDERS were the most of any AoE2 DLC, and then later added the post release sales were un-impressive.
The first 10 minutes are about the DLC and it is reiterated that it did well, some other sources say better than Return of Rome. Considering that Masmorra has access to more insider knowledge than randos on the forums, his statements would be closer to the truth.
You yourself are calling it slop, but at the same time you’re defending it and calling for others to support the DLC? Why does it need good reviews if “people already voted with their wallets” and it’s a huge financial success (supposedly)?
If you won just leave it be bro
