When you defeat an opponent’s monarch, you will gain an extra 50 population cap. However, if your population exceeds 200 but is not yet at the cap, using the Imama’s proselytization skill to recruit units will directly kill the targeted unit, rather than claiming ownership, unlike how it works in standard combat where this effect is triggered when reaching the 200 population cap. Conversely, employing a relic to recruit units will not result in the death of the target unit when the population cap has not reached 250.
Game version is 12.2.3327, OS is Windows 11 with latest updates.
