Incorrect Building Destruction Orientation

Issue:

The visual effect of buildings collapsing after being destroyed does not always align with the orientation of the building, and can be up to 90 degrees different in some circumstances. This appears to primarily affect buildings which been rotated beyond their default orientation, although town centers do not appear to be affected. This issue is present no matter which civilization the building belongs to.

Trigger Event:

The destruction of any building besides the town center, of any civilization and by any means, that is not at its default orientation.

Repro Steps:

  1. Rotate the building outside of its default orientation in gameplay or in the editor.
  2. Place the building at this rotation.
  3. Have the building destroyed by any means.

Hi @conorbebe, thank you for the report. This is a known issue and is tracked.

I’m silly and did not realise this bug affects all buildings, not just citadels, and so have updated the report to reflect this.
