DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.
When generating random maps in the scenario editor, sometimes I need to click the Generate Map button twice in order for a map to generate. This button should generate a map every time I click it. Instead the first click makes the button appear visually depressed. A second click then is required to generate the map. This only occurs when the mouse cursor does not leave the button between mouse clicks.
This is an important workflow for creating and testing random map scripts, especially those used in tournaments. There is a simple but annoying workaround of clicking the button twice or moving the cursor out of then back into the button.

List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!
Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:
- Go to the scenario editor.
- Select the Map tap at the top-left.
- Select the Random Map option (pick any map, such as Arabia).
- Repeatedly click the Generate Map button without moving the cursor outside of the button.
What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?
The map should generate for each click.
ALWAYS attach a PICTURE (.jpg, .png, .gif) or VIDEO (.mp4, YouTube link) that highlights the problem.
See the Generate Map button in the lower left. It’s visible when selecting the “Map” tab and using the Random Map option.
Attach a SAVE GAME (.aoe2spgame) or GAME RECORDING (.aoe2record) of the match where you encountered the issue. Link it below if using an external file service.
