The historical name of the Inca’s metropolis is QOSQO (in native language), and the current name of the city is CUSCO (oficial spanish version). The term cuzco (as in the current game) is a spanish slang to refer to small dirty dogs. The misunderstanding of the term (and probably why cuzco is displayed as the city’s name in wikipedia) is because spaniards cannot pronounce the S very well, but to solve this issue the Minitry of Cultere of the Government of Peru declared that the correct term is CUSCO in 1986. Using the term cuzco is highly offensive for the inhabitant of the city.
