Udaya is a name. Udayadityavarman I | Age of Empires Series Wiki | Fandom It’s not a title of king.
South East Asians call their King as Raja, Cakkavatti, Sukaphaa, Phra Chao etc.
If you are looking for icons/portrait you can find them here:

Yes that is so.
Apparently he is still listed as King in the game, look under Hero type.
Thank you but I already know that.
It would be good, to bring Kings into play as trainable units with a certain function at best with a uniquely new building.
Kings can ensure, that military technologies have a much bigger impact with stronger buffs for example.
When it comes to a possible new building, I am thinking of a “Princely court” from the Mod Age of Chivalry Hegemony. This building could be built from the third Age of the game, that means from the Castle age onwards. The Princely court would have the advantage of being much better armored than a Castle and is much more difficult to destroy with siege weapons.
In addition to the Kings or a King for civs, I would of course also like to see Merchants as new trainable units in the game.
Merchants can ensure for this, that the State treasury with more gold can be improved.
As already mentioned in this topic, the Merchants can get the previously unusable “Trade workshop” as a new building and get new tasks with it.
Mmm no. Kings have a function already and I think its cool. They are only for regicide, but I like regicide
If they bring in the old legionaries with squared shields. Or a nordic infantry unit that can do shieldwall.
More warrior kings please.
Below is an ingame picture of a “Bulgarian Khan”. Check out this beautifully designed unit in a winter environment:
I found him in a scenario in the Tatars campaign. He can not be found in the Editor or in the Wiki among the untrainable or the hero units.
Bulgarian Khan:
Below you will find a Fandom wiki picture of all untrainable units in the game. The Mongol Khan is included, the Bulgarian one does not.
Here is a Fandom wiki picture where you can see all hero and other units of “The Last Khans DLC”. Here too the Bulgarian Khan is missing although the Mongol and 3 other Khans can be seen.
So many beautiful units hidden or only in scenario editor. I would rather have these beautiful units over the meme skins they give out every season.
Absolutely yes.
You really have to good looking for these beautiful and technically good units in the game, which is a shame. I assume therefore, that for this reason many players will never see these hidden units unless someone points them out like I did it in this topic
They should give us the heroes as skins for regular units and a Persian mod to Central Asian.
I am immediately in favor of getting more untrainable and or hero units into the game and of course also for finally getting more Architecture sets. The current meager sets are a catastrophe, about this the developers unfortunately knows a lot, but they do not anything against it.
This game mainly suffers from the fact, that there are far too many general units and techs for all civs, which is very unfortunate. Seeing arbalest archers, halberds, petards and trebuchets as siege weapons among Indigenous civs is very painful. Seeing available wheel and cart technologies among the indigenous civs is further very unreasonable. It would be much better, if the Aztecs and Incas get a population bonus of military units similar to what the Chinese have. It would be further good for the Aztecs to get an religious bonus in terms of human sacrifice and for the Mayans an economic bonus in terms of farming.
I do not understand why a game like Age of Emirates 2 sells so well, when it has such serious flaws and this after over 20 years of development before the Definitive edition was released. The reason is probably that most players do not pay enough attention, to what and how the game is going and are simply blinded by the good sounding title…
I am really curious to see, whether the developers keep their promises from the last update for next year, to bring surprises into the game, that no one expected. I highly doubt, that this actually happens and if it does, it would be very surprising for us as players.
They surprised us with Bohemians, Polish, Armenians and Georgians. Something most people have been waiting for ages. I believe they can deliver. I want to be optimistic for the next year. I am also hoping for the Tais to come.
That is right, Caucasian civs in particular have been desired for many years and the wish was finally granted years later this year.
Of course yes, they can deliver at any time. The question is always whether they want this.
I would also really like to see a new Thai civ in the game. It is somehow missing as a bridge between the Indian, East Asian and Southeast Asian civs.
The Bulgarian Khan is a renamed Jarl hero unit.
PeakHornet beat me to it by barely a few minutes.
The “Bulgarian Khan” is not actually “very unique” and is indeed available in the editor: it’s a regular Jarl with the exact same stats and icon, just renamed for the sake of the scenario via a trigger.
That is good to know.
It is yet true, that this unit does not exist anywhere as such a name.
I can not know from over 180 hero units up to now, that the Bulgarian Khan is a renamed Jarl. But I would still like to thank you for this valuable advice.
The architecture sets that were added by Forgotten Empires have a differently shaped Trade Workshop than that existed before (all T Shaped) except the slavic one.
And the goods, pots, cart, well lay in the exact same manner around the West European, Central European, East European, Middle Eastern Trade Workshop.
They need to enlarge some of these.
I see it this way too, that the unequal buildings shall be enlarged rather than reduced in size, since the Trade Workshop represents a larger unit than for expample just smaller houses.
It would be good, if all 11 different Trade Workshop have the same size.
I thought it would be more fun to give Merchant and Trade Workshop to everyone .
