Initialization Failed

I love Age of Empires III, I had it installed on my old computer, and now I’m trying to install it on my new one (I’ve got the CD-ROM version by the way). I finally loaded everything into my laptop then I clicked Age3 and, “Initialization Failed”. Can anyone help?

  • Programs
  • “Turn Windows features on or off”
  • Open folder called Legacy Components
  • Toggle DirectPlay
