Which Age of Empires game are you asking about playing over LAN without an internet connection?
You aren’t English speaker what other language can you speak?
Same question: Can I play the “Age of Empires: Definitive Edition” with my friends in a home-made LAN, without internet?
We are going to have a family encounter in a farm ( we are in Brazil, by the way ), and there will be no internet connection available…
A quick google suggests this was a priority. Could someone with access to the game (still unreleased in my space-time distortion) check this out and confirm for future reference?

You need to be signed in to Xbox live and so connected with internet before you can click any button in the game. It’s the first thing the game on startup to main menu does.
So it’s not possible yet without internet connection afaic.
I still have hope they will make this possible in the future, it will require big changes though.
