Seen a number of posts that were completely neutral, flagged and removed for various reasons.
And there was definitely nothing in them that was contentious. I’ve only had one, but I’ve seen a number of other people’s posts that its happened to.

On other Discourse forums, where it is possible to ‘change’ accounts by selecting different characters (such as WoW forums), one person can do so even from just one account. Also one person can spam upvotes in the same way.
I haven’t seen such a function in the forums here, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the threshold for having a post flagged is also smaller.

I doubt it because my posts never got flagged and removed. Maybe once when I did a “troll post”. Chances are you are being irritating/provocatory and that’s why you are getting mass flagged, nothing to do with bots.

I think the flag function is really bad and prone to be abused.
What I’d like is simply an “ignore user/post” button.
Sometimes I see two people arguing for like 20 posts or more, and I’d just like to hide those posts, not flag them because I’ve nothing against them, they just make the reading of a thread very difficult, but they’re not insulting or trolling or spamming or whatever.

It sometimes seems to happen within a minute of the post being published. I noticed it happening a few times to people arguing with or saying anything about Cloudact, but it’s probably much more widespread than that.
Just looking at how it happens it almost looks like ones there have been enough total flags in a topic a single flag becomes enough to hide a post.
There are immature troublemakers who try to cause trouble for systems through their own internal workings. They target websites of board games, to give an example, and wreak havoc. While the troublemakers may ultimately grow up, the damage has been done.

Yes i had a bunch flagged and removed that were nothing bad. Even admin who removed them told me I did nothing wrong
This seems weird to me…
Posts are hidden automaticly if it is flagged too many time. But it is up to the mods to delete posts (or unhide a post). It really sound weird to me if they really delete a post, while you did nothing wrong…
I swear there are trolls flagging everything
I’ve even seen cases where neutral posts were flagged while more problematic ones in the same thread were left intact
