Is there a fix for this TERRIBLE TERRIBLE MISTAKE? (Losing all hope here)

So… I wanted to see all of the home city customization for all civs, which meant I needed a ton of xp.

As you know, there is a thing called “Nova & Orion” and a game mode called “Single player”, one thing led to the other and now I have all of the home city decorations.

BUT!

But… now I’m kicked out of most of casual lobby’s since my civs all have 50+ levels on them and I’m now “Too OP” for most games (even if I only played enough for like, level 10).

Is there any way to reset my levels? Or am I screwed by irony?

Before DE everyone used to edit them to get around grinding so I’m assuming you can still do that.

But really these levels should be hidden in multiplayer so that noobs don’t think it’s a metric for gauging skill.

This is counterintuitive! No need to unlock the HC cards, they are all available from level 1, so it doesn’t matter what level you are! There is no reasonable reason to humiliate you like that!

Si j’ai bien compris, il voulait simplement dire qu’il voulait débloquer tout les cosmétiques des homecity de base

There is a way but you’ll lose everything.

I get the opposite when I’m trying to play in casual lobbies with one of my lesser used civs and get accused of being a noob lol… there’s no fix for stupid people unfortunately.

I know it doesn’t really solve the problem, but if you’re running into that behavior a lot you could set up casual lobbies yourself.

Obviously the morally correct thing to do is to flame them, make a 2nd account, and then grief them unto oblivion.

I suppose it depends on the lobby you join. Some will kick you for looking too noobish, so I suppose it’s a lose-lose. But at least they think you’re op.

Resetting levels wouldn’t solve anything, then you instead get kicked for being too low level.
There actually is an easy fix; just play ranked search to avoid all this nonsense.
