Is there a way to request help from AI allies?

Although the flare feature is lacking (up to build 46777), is there a way to request help (either resources or military backup) from artificial intelligence allies? Something like this:

  • ‘I am being attacked! Can you aid me?’ or…
  • ‘I’m running out of food/wood/gold/stone. Would you assist me?’.

Theres no way to call for help from the AI allies as far as i know.
It owuld be nice that the reacted to commands though, like that even doing something as simple like, “I need wood” gets me a bit of extra wood from an ally.
