Sorry for my English.the solution current in the game are so annoying…for example, alt+left click drag to select all eco unit in the zone,and shift+left click drag to select all army unit…
there are proper hotkeys for land military: 1 hotkey for all land military in view and 1 hotkey for all land military everywhere. I have these bound to tab and shift-tab.
if you really want to select all vills in view (why would you ever? 
) double-click on a vill.
there’s also a hotkey to select all idle vills everywhere. (shift-spacebar on my setup, but that’s definitely not default.)
selecting mass navy or selecting all idle villagers in view are sadly not possible.
