I am trying to publish a custom campaign mod for Age of Empires II: DE via the in-game Mod Manager but I keep receiving the error message: “Failed Publishing Mod - Error: Only mod files containing AOE mod files accepted”.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
How often does the issue occur? CHOSE ONE; DELETE THE REST!

List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!
Here’s my troubleshooting steps attempted:

File Type Verification. I confirmed that the custom campaign image ia a valid .dds file (Saved via Paint.NET as DirectDraw Surface.

Folder structure Check. There are no stray files like .txt and .ini.

Temporarily removed the wigdetui folder to test if the .dds file was causing the crash, but the error persisted.

Lastly I tried creating a clean .zip archive of the ‘resources’ folder and uploaded it directly to the site. Received the error: “There has been an error in processing your mod. Please review the information and try again.”

What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?
My mod should upload via the Mod Menu.
