it would be good that sokmewhere we could see how many militar troops we have while building farms or constructing houses etc, so we could know if our troopes are diminishing, similar on how we can see how many villagers we have

I would just go for a simple military count and an idle military count…
Isn’t 200 minus vill count = military count?

Yes, but it would be more like current pop - villager pop = military pop in this case 145 - 81 = 64
