Its not worth making Content for AOE2 Players

its the first time in AOE2 that you guys are getting variant civs, and hero units

This is nothing new, we had this on Aoe4 since long ago, Jeanne De’Arc as a Hero, and Khan, and with English Kings as lords, in AOE4 in total we have 6 VARIANT CIVS

we even got House of Lancaster on the latest DLC, and Crusader as another 2 Variants

Yet you dont see the same negativity and outcry that AOE2 players do, its ridiculous and pathetic

Everyone seem to complain about 3k, when khitan and jurchen literally lasted 100-311 years, i like to remind you although Three Kingdoms ended, they become Chinas as of today and even the Jin Dynasty is strongly related to 3K since its the sons from Wei they just renamed the Kingdom, so its not really ended

Honestly, if people make this amount of outrage on the AOE2, Devs its not worth making content for such people, you are better off focusing on AOE4 and AoM Instead, we got 6 Variants and we were never this unhappy

aoe2 playerbase literally get mad at the idea of variants for the first time, ask to review bomb it and everything, absolutely pathetic. a bunch of jokers

We literally have the Chinese, who have as their UU a unit that was around during the Three Kingdoms period.

These are also not civs, these are political entities. This has literally never happened before for the game.

Considering they lied about this DLC and seem to have misled us in other areas, perhaps that is what you should be more focused on, rather than how people reacted to it?

AoE2 has 49 variant civilisations.

and? These are called Variants

You have Civs that shares UU and many villagers looking the same, everyone looking like this yet you dont cry about it?

AOE4 have 3 French Variants, we didnt cry the same as you do now

Because AoE4 is a completely different game.

Also I do remember a fair amount of whining about the variant civs…

You are lying again 11

Khitans existed from the 4th century to the 13th century. Liao Empire and Khara Khitai Empire existed for 311 years.

Jurchens entered Chinese records in the 8th century, they also founded the Qing Dynasty in the 17th century.

So both of these peoples were longlasting, had unique cultures and fit the game’s timeframe.

You guys are still pathetic for crying like a bunch of babies

uses talks of historical when you know nothing about History

being ignorant is bless

Three Kingdoms lasted for 50-60 years (less than the avg human lifespan). They aren’t distinct cultures from Han Chinese. They don’t fit the game’s timeframe.

They are still Han Chinese, learn Chinese history again

see that? Three Kingdoms to Jin

and they keep evolved, it didnt end

You guys made it like them killed themselves

They End Up Becoming the Chinese Civ

Yes, I’m talking about they’re Han Chinese, sherlock.

Which is one of the reasons of many, why they don’t belong in aoe2.

and here is where your wrong, its called a Variant

You guys are pathetic, cuz you are asking to move to Chronicles, when its completely dead, cant even find a match, nor is it for ranked

Then don’t.

World’s Edge, have some spine. Do not earn the dirty money from these hideous people. You have millions and billions of consooomers from other places waiting to feed you.

Better wish you could earn enough money from them to cover your cost hiring bot armies btw

and Jurchen, you guys think its a new Civ?

Its still a Variant, its using Korean letters and everything, its a KOREAN VARIANT

At least we haven’t started posting from 2 accounts to try and defend a billion dollar company…
