Issue:
After researching Companion Equipment upgrade from the blacksmith, Jeannes stats remain the same they were before, missing the health, damage and armor increase. The upgrade does apply to her companion’s however.
JD stats after upgrade
Trigger Event:
Has happened in every jeanne darc game ive played, so seems very consistent.
Repro Steps:
- Pick JD, i played mostly 1v1 and team games ranked
- upon hitting castle age and with level 3 JD, research Companion Equipment
- Look at her stats, its bugged

Seems like when the upgrade is researched at the Royal institute landmark it works correctly, but when researched at the blacksmith its bugged
not a bug intended, you probably got it mixed up

I’m confirming the bug, I just tested it.
The bug occurs if Companion Equipment is developed in the Blacksmith.
This is a major problem. Perhaps it’s one of the reasons why Juana feels weaker than Franceses lately.

Thank you for confirming, always helps to have multiple sets of eyes on things like this. Hopefully it can get fixed in the new patch, because it’s been bugged for months, and JD is already a very weak civ
@TonicCar2582 please elaborate, because so far there is absolutely no evidence that this is intended, whether you read the actual upgrade, or the fact that the upgrade works correctly if you research it from Royal Institute. Hopefully you’re not just trolling…
