Julius Caesar Campaign part II. Bello Civili

Cool! Can’t wait to see that. Contact me later

what does this even mean

OK, don’t respond then.
DO NOT make a translation of my campaigns. Feel free to make your own campaigns yourself instead of stealing other people’s work.

I forget which chapter is it. Some chapters with population limit of 125 or 150. And some chapters can not build siege weapons. However, the roman is the best in siege.

Romans do not have the best siege at all, there are celts, ethiopians, saracens, mongols, and more whom have much better siege.

If you are referring to mission 3, it’s supposed to represent Caesar being stranded in Greece with only a small portion of his army, and you are to weak to attack the enemy camp. I don’t want it to be “destroy enemy completely” for all 5 missions, and you can do so in the other 4.

But even if not, why write such a troll comment? Makes you look like a complete fool. I don’t want to associate with people like you.

I don’t understand, why you think it’s a “troll comment”. As I said at first, “Caesar is the best general indeed! Win the war by leading a disabled army.” With fewer and useless army to defeat Pompey, conquer Gaul and Egypt. Your campagin describe it well. It should be a high recognized.

there is one mission where u can’t train siege because it shows the battle of Dyrrhachium where Caesar is trapped in Greece with a small amount if his men, and ends up losing to Pompey. The next scenario is where Caesar defeats Pompey and you have 200 Pop and siege. There are 17 total scenarios across the campaigns. How does 1 scenario represent the whole 17 Scenario campaign?

You are either a fool, or a troll.

If this makes you happy, I’m just a fool and troll.

Talking to you is like talking to a wall. You haven’t even adressed anything i’ve said.

I don’t understand what you said “You haven’t even adressed anything i’ve said”.
At first, I praise Caesar for leading a weak army to victory, even without engineering weapons. I thought the Romans were very skilled in the field of civil engineering and siege at that time.
Then you refute me. Yes, I admitted that you are right, I just did not say it in the following comments.

And you said, “why write such a troll comment”. Then, I explained to you “Ceasar lead a sparse and weak army to defeat Pompey, conquer Gaul and Egypt. Your campagin describe it well. It should be a high recognized.” This sentence have no offence to you. I mention that chapter because it’s remarkable and unforgettable.

You can check the chat history. I did not use any offensive words towards you, nor did I have any intention of belittling you. I don’t know why you always though I am a troll.
If you are not the English native speaker, you can use the Google translator so you can realize my words.

If my words violate certain religious or ethnic taboos, I apologize to you.
Have a nice day

Okay I see,

I will tell you the reason why it feels like a troll comment is because you gave it a 1/5 star review. That comes across as you saying “Your whole campaign is terrible because in 1 mission I couldn’t train siege”. Just letting you know, that’s what it comes across as in context of the star rating. Anyways I apologize for any insult I have given, it’s no excuse but at the same time as this I was dealing with others who were unfairly criticizing my campaigns and at the time I was just thinking to myself why do I even bother making campaigns for people to play if this is how people react.

Also while you are here, I noticed you currently reviewed and played my Edward IV campaign. Thanks for the feedback, but based on it I would assume you played the Chinese version of it, since I have made many updates to the English version of that campaign which have not also been updated in the Chinese version, which was created very shortly after the English version was first published, so quite a few of those issues have already been fixed, or maybe you did play the English version but before I updated it. For example you said the population of the snow mission is 180, when I have in an update increased it to 200. (unless you were referring to the next mission, which does indeed still have a max of 180 pop after capturing all enemy castles).

But to quickly address 2 other points, the reason why your enemy (and your allies) don’t take damage during the blizzard is because the a.i does not know how to react to it, or at least given my limitations of a.i scripting at the time. But in many updates i’ve made the blizzard much easier to deal with so it shouldn’t be as unfair now. 2nd, I will agree that the gold objective in the 6th mission wasn’t implemented to well, due to my limitations of a.i and map making at the time, but it is possible to do you just have to focus on attacking their gold production (miners and trading) although the objective is still hard to complete because you need to also defend your base from the enemy.
