Jurchen and Khitan victory icons are not unlocking - victories do not increment in player statistics

Similar to how Armenian and Georgian icons for 10 and 100 victories, each, were bugged, these 2 new civilisations - Jurchens and Khitans - are currently bugged, too. If someone starts a skirmish and wins as one of these 2 factions, the stat “Total wins” stays the same, without incrementing. The stat “Total games” increments properly. Winning as other civilisations (such as Huns), however, increments victories properly, too.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Check the “Total wins” stat - remember that number
  2. Start a game as Khitans/Jurchens- regicide, post imp, infinite resources, slow speed
  3. kill the enemy king, save the game (right after the final hit, but before the victory)
  4. load up the save and keep replaying until you get 10 (or 100) wins
  5. check the player icons (which remain locked) and “Total wins” stat - see that it did not increment

:backhand_index_pointing_down: What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?
The stat “Total wins” should have incremented by the number of victories, and the player icons for 10/100 victories should have unlocked for Jurchens/Khitans. But they did not.

Additionally, there are problems unlocking the achievements to win as Jurchens/Khitans, but there is a workaround - make a save right before victory (as in reproduction steps), close the game, start the game, and load that save and win - the achievements unlock that way.

I did a Wonder game as Khitan with Victory but achievement never popped.

I did a Wonder game as Khitan on ‘slow’ so I could save, saved at 99%, closed game, reopened game, loaded saved 99% game and I got victory. Closed game. Reopened game but achievement never popped.

I did this three times without success.

Try the approach like I described. Do regicide and save a split second before victory - just keep saving after you kill the king. I suggest regicide land nomad on easiest, and just build a castle or two next to enemy king + a TC. Start post imp with infinite res and everything visible. Also, try staying on the map for a while and click statistics and other stuff. Additionally - just making sure - “closing the game” a reopening it means completely shutting down the aoe2 process and launching it from steam again, right? Because closing just the match and then loading it up from the menu will not work.

Didn’t have to save or anything. Victory turned the achievement. So weird.

That is great, i’m happy for you! Now, the icons…which need to be fixed (among other stuff).

Yup, I came here to see if someone else noticed too. Let’s hope it won’t take 18 months this time…

I’m having the same problem. Wins with Jurchen and Khitans are completely broken, and I can’t get the icon. Instead, my win percentage decreases because it counts as a game played, but not a game won.

We are aware of the issue with improper Victory stat tracking for Jurchens and Khitans.
