(Just for fun) Do people think the expansion names have been rather uninspired?

For years most of the expansions/DLCs have been named “rise (and equivalent) of somebody” or “dynasties (and equivalent) of somewhere”.
I honestly think there could have more cultural/historical flavored names like some of the paradox game DLCs.

These are the names for the DLCs I came up with quickly:

  1. Age of Empires Il: Definitive Edition: Wealth of Emperors - Bavarians civ, Saxonians civ and Hansa civ
  2. Age of Empires Il: Definitive Edition: Župan’s of Balkans - Croatians civ, Romanians civ and Serbs civ
  3. Age of Empires Il: Definitive Edition: Sailors of Mediterranean Sea - Aragonese civ and Venetians civ
  4. Age of Empires Il: Definitive Edition: Kings of Scandinavia - Danes civ and Swedes civ
  5. Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition: Lions of the North - Prussians civ, Danes civ and Poles civ

Just going to point out that the historical Lion of the North title refers to Gustavus Adolphus, the king of Sweden.

Would Vikings become Norwegians? And would Longboats become a regional unit?
