The new update added a new unique unit called Khan’s Hunter.
However, the unit uses the same skin as the Mangudai.
The only difference between the Mangudai and the Khan’s Hunter’s skin is the color of the cotton (red brown).
Do you think it will be enough to differentiate during the battle? I don’t think so!

I cannot distinguish them at all. It is really hard to read which unit is which.
The golden aura greatly hides the readability, and it will be very difficult to notice the purple clothes! And what if a player chooses purple color? How can we differentiate which unit is which?
Solution: Make unique skin for Khan’s Hunter.
Moreover, as we all know, Mongol bonuses such as yam aura, Kurultai and 2x production affects infantry. Now Khan’s Hunter’s aura also affects ranged infantry. This is making Mongol cavalry pointless. After feudal, the Mongol player will use Khan’s Hunter for crossbows and then handcannoneers. Mandgudai will be useless.
All the Mongol unique aura and 2x production affecting infantry is also wrong for this civilization because it is against the civ’s main strength. I really think the devs forgot the civ strength.

Allowing infantry units to benefit from all Mongol aura is wrong and is a design flaw.
Allowing 2x production of infantry units is also wrong, it is another design flaw of the Mongols.
Instead, the devs have to focus on the Mongol cavalry and add more unique cavalry units to them.
Remove some infantry technologies. The Mongols were never known for their infantry, but their cavalry army.
I really hope, most Mongol players do think the same. Because, a Mongol player tower rushes with archers and spearmen and so on. Imp is xbows, spearmen and sieges and so on. Keshiks and Mangudai are nothing, they are mostly situational units. Which is again, against civilization’s strength.
