Khmer is top pick civ, it ok but after get affect from ballistic. Range 7+1 for free it too OP, special in closed wall map. Any one have same my opinion?
I agree, is that free +1 range that is making Khmer Scorpions a big problem and even pros struggle to counter them.
I would move that +1 range into Double Crossbow UT and replace the team bonus to Scorpions being trained 25% faster to still keep Khmer as a civ with strong Scorpions, but now needing to be in Imperial, having a Castle and invest into the UT to be stronger, also prevents the stacking of Celts, Ethiopians and Romans.
What if like Koreans it was -1 min range on scorpions

With better line of sight they could avoid monks and onagers a bit better. Ballista Elephants have a weakness to onagers, so could help them avoid fighting them in some cases.
No, is fine if it takes longer to have more range, currently Khmer Scorpions are problematic as well in castle age once you get ballistics, Mangonels even struggle to deal with those.
The idea is still to keep Khmer with strong Scorpions since catsle age, but there’s a difference on facing faster trained scorpions and making Mangonels not as worth dealing with those.
+2 LOS on Elephants?? that’s just useless.
Khmer don’t need any buff. Also +5% over Celts and only for scorpions is underpowered.

What if it was elephants and farms +2 los as thats like all the Khmer things. Still pretty useless but every civ benefits from at least farminh
