I was playing some FFA and team games and man those maps are huge. Doing a knight mass and raiding seemed a bit like the only option.
With that thought there are a lot of unique civ knight advantages out there giving some unique flavor out there to them.
I wanted to start a discussion to let us talk through those unique upgrades and how they differ and where there’s advantages in them.
So there’s Byzantine with their Cataphract. High cost but maybe one of the best? Trample ability that only gets better with its upgrade.. definitely a good choice
Macedonian Dynasty with their Riddari… which doesn’t necessarily get a unique upgrade for it but when you pair the Hippodrome champions who buff it and the ability to go +6 in attack or armor it makes it very tacky
Japanese with its mounted Samurai are some of the toughest I face in mass. Speed, deflective armor and the attack bonus with Bannerman make them a tough adversary
