Whats up,
Is laming the boar (killing boar as islamic civ for it to dissapear so opponent cant use it) considered unsportmanlike? I was never sure if this is intended or not.. im asking because it happened to me just yesterday

Well this is a bug and can be taken as a exploit of the game
Denying boar gathering by simply killing it as a Islamic Civ is not good
A thing that devs could do is to neglect gathering every time you do with a villager, but not for the other Civs

Banned in tournaments.
However, if you try to gather boar killed by another civ you get an error message.
This indicates the mechanic is intentional.

The supposed mechanic was not banned from tournaments, as I’ve seen it done several times (even though it should have been). I hope they fix this.

Might be dependent on the rules for the specific tournament. One of the low elo tournaments I played in explicitly forbade it.
