Amigo, puedo equivocarme, pero creo que el autor del post no dijo en ningún momento que Bolívar es querido por Perú, es más creo que ni siquiera se lo menciono como parte del Re-Work.
Además, si estas intentando convencer a los desarrolladores de que quiten a bolívar de la revolución de Perú, quizás deberías ponerles un video en inglés, porque dudo mucho que entiendan español.
PD: En mi opinión Bolívar está en la revolución actual por el mismo motivo por el cual Argentina esta disponible para los alemanes, porque a Microsoft realmente no le interesa Sudamérica o su historia. (solo la propaganda que ya conoce sobre Latinoamérica)
De hecho, estoy justamente de acuerdo con cualquier Rework de las revoluciones latinoamericanas.
Justamente, lo que más destacaría y quisiera, sería eso: Que Bolivar ya no sea parte de la rev. Peruana, que pase a la de Gran Colombia, o que simplemente no este.

En el vanilla de Warchieft era incluso era peor, Perú era revolución de Rusia y Alemania… lo cual no tiene sentido.
Felizmente al menos en el DE, Argentina pasó a ser revolución de España; y fuera de lo de Bolivar, ahora las revoluciones tienen cartas más bonitas y temáticas.
Lo recuerdo, las revoluciones en esa época eran basura, era un todo o nada que realmente te garantizaba perder en la mayoría de casos, y la mayoría de revoluciones eran inutilizables de lo malas que eran.
PD: Ojalá los desarrolladores hagan realidad la propuesta de Zeppelino, realmente preferiría lo que propone acá a lo que tenemos actualmente.

That would add a hero Ganga Zumba. And replace the crossbowman with the Capoeira Formado that fights though capoeira and counters musketeers.

I’ve also always found it strange that Peru has Bolívar as a hero; I hope the developers approve your request to remove Bolívar from the Peruvian revolution so he can be exclusive to Gran Colombia.

Does Latin America have control over a strategic naval choke point like the Danish straits? No, at least not until the Panama canal. It’s more than just a customs house building like literally every single nation has, it represents a key aspect of Danish geography and maratime control.
You could argue that the Strait of Magellan is this and that Fort Bulnes could be an analogue.
Agricultural estates are all over the place in Latin America of course, you could argue on which ones are more Hacienda coded and which ones are more Folwark coded. (There’s entire books written about how peasantry in Chile was serf-coded until the agricultural reform for example.)
It’s kinda why I never take “historically accurate” arguments seriously, you can reasonably justify anything if properly flavored.
You reeeally have to stretch that for it to be comparable. As far as I’m aware those forts were more to stake a claim to the region than impose tolls or anything like that. And if that was ever attempted traffic would just go around through Drake’s passage instead as soon as the fees were high enough to justify the risk. It’s not exactly a choke point, just the nicer of multiple routes.

If we’re talking about trade across the entire region, the Paraná River was of great importance at that time, and if we’re talking about a bi-oceanic passage like the Panama Canal, then the Strait of Magellan was crucial.
I suppose Argentina, Chile, and Brazil could have the customs house building.
