There’s so many reference images to use and you had to use AI slop

You could upscale them with Waifu2x, which predates GenAI and isn’t powered by data centers.

Considering I’ve made DE mods with most of these units at this point he’s just using AI for the love of the game. Saying he can’t get better images because old illusts are low quality is coping.

Yes, everything AI designs is slop.

Also overall, it would be a great change and finaly make Latin american revs interesting.

You’ve put so much work into this, that even if there are a few mistakes, posts like these are truly inspiring :purple_heart::purple_heart::purple_heart:

I’d be glad to use your knowledge and the suggestions from here to my personal mod, if you agree. If I ever make it public, I’ll clearly credit the co-creator.

To put it simply, this is a fantastic article packed with information—especially for me—because I used to have to search for similar information on some long-forgotten websites written in classic HTML in Spanish or Portuguese.

The second thing is your hope in my limited skills! I’m not even a good modder, but I’d be happy to add/replace all the cards with references to history and culture, primarily by removing archaic or strange cards just like a outlaw gang.

The third one is a very low priority for me when it comes to making changes, but I’ll definitely bookmark the post and, just in case, save it on my computer, because it’s like a pill of knowledge.

Finally, fourth, my mod is NOT a fully historical. It’s really more for my own enjoyment while playing, but I’m still happy with the work I’ve done and the minimal use of AI, oof.

I love it when others are fascinated by a specific topic. It makes me get into it, too

That deck looks interesting.

Thanks. There are only technologies related to European civilizations here. I decided to put them all in one folder instead of separating them. I’ve actually managed to do a lot more, but I wanted to show this off and, at the same time, prove that I’m actually doing something.

I’m mainly trying to give the existing icon(?) of the technology a visual refresh, and I’m wondering if I could share them with someone, because I think they’re good enough that they’ll get stolen anyway.

Over the next few days, I will try to create most of the icon and names. At least it will be some work done with the future in thought – for me or anyone else, lol

Thank you for the effort you have put in and for research

@zeppelino24 I have a slightly off-topic question, have you seen the 2015 movie El botón de nácar?

Hi, actually, no—I haven’t seen that film. I’ll look it up to check it out, and if I see that it contains interesting information, I’ll watch it.

I’d like to see an Antarctic Expedition card for Argentina and Chile. It could provide a small experience trickle from ships and docks, or maybe improve gathering from whales.

Another change I’d like to see for Argentina is a card that ships a group of Húsares de la Muerte and Legionarios Peruanos called “Cruce de los Andes”

I am working on a relaunch of this publication; the corresponding cards for all the civilizations will be uploaded, and I might be able to add a card for the Crossing of the Andes.

I wonder how feasible or historically accurate it would be to use the unique buildings of new civilizations to improve South American revolutions.

For example, could Customs House and the Folwark be used by all South American revolutions?

Si tengo que hacer pedidos sobre las revoluciones:

1).- Please, QUIT Bolivar hero from Peru Revolution.

Bolivar wasn´t Peruvian, but Venezoluelan. In fact, he HATE Peruvians, wrote terrible letter about us. There are even articles about how Bolivar hate us a lot:

For hundred years, as a political narrative, many Peruvians were led to believe that this man (Bolivar) came to help Peru, but he was merely a power-hungry individual serving the interests of Masonic England.

There is even a book about this fraud, and many channels talk about the “True Bolivar”, was not a liberator, but a dictator with politicasl vias.

That peruvians has him as Hero and only characteristic, It’s as offensive as if the USA Revolution had “Benedict Arnold” as its explorer.

Maybe make him (Bolivar) the hero of Gran Colombia, fit better with him, that was his dream, the “Great Colombia”.

Doable? Yeah sure why not.

Historically accurate? What does that even mean lmao

¿Teníamos cosas similares que podrían justificar el agregar esos edificios?

A eso me refiero.
