Lautaro campaign progress not saved

Yesterday I completed Lautaro scenario 1 Gods of Death and Terror, started on scenario 2 but did not get far and did not save. When I booted up the game today to restart scenario 2, it was not unlocked – my campaign progress has not been saved.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Play and complete Lautaro scenario 1.
  2. (Possibly play but do not complete Lautaro scenario 2)
  3. Quite AoE2 (and possibly wait a day).
  4. Restart AoE2 to find that campaign progress has not been saved.

:backhand_index_pointing_down: What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?

I was supposed to be able to play scenario 2 of the campaign.

Just to add that I recompleted scenario 1, started playing scenario 2, and a little while later the game crashed and when I booted it up again, scenario 2 was, once again, not unlocked.
