“Double the rate at which villagers chop down trees."
mean "4 to 2"but no one use it.unless you want to need very many wood,Cut down an entire forest in a short time.but it is impossible.
how to change it?
- A tree needs eight chops to fall
- Add very large trees .It takes many chops to cut down the tree
- 4 to 1 chop
i could be wrong here, but i think the reason it was only 2 chops, is to reduce the rate you can tunnel through forests, specifically for maps like black forest. since troops can walk over felled trees, unlike aoe2
thus giving mongols a slight advantage but their defences suck.
iaw maybe the tech isnt necessarily intended for use on all maps/games. like heated shot in aoe2
