Light infantry killing heavy cavalry and hand shock infantry in ranged attack

Light infantry have a 0.75x negative multiplier against heavy cavalry and 0.75x negative multiplier against hand shock infantry in ranged attack. Grouped light infantry are very difficult to kill by heavy cavalry and hand shock infantry in ranged attack. This bullshit needs to be fixed. This nonsense can end if light infantry has a negative multiplier of 0.1x to 0.4x against heavy cavalry and hand shock infantry in ranged attack. I’m only talking about the multiplier against heavy cavalry and hand shock infantry in ranged attack. Some light infantry may not have a 0.75x negative multiplier against heavy cavalry and 0.75x negative multiplier against hand shock infantry in ranged attack, so exclude them.

Ranged attack multipliers of light infantry

2x light cavalry and ranged shock infantry

0.75x cavalry

0.75x hand shock infantry

Multiply 2 by 0.75, you get 1.5. This means that light infantry will have a 1.5x positive multiplier against light cavalry in ranged attack. Light infantry have a 2x positive multiplier against ranged shock infantry in ranged attack. Light infantry have a 0.75x negative multiplier against heavy cavalry and hand shock infantry in ranged attack.

Here are the new multipliers in the march update:

2.5x light cavalry and ranged shock infantry

0.6x cavalry

0.5x shock infantry

In the new update, when you multiply 2.5 by 0.6, it’s 1.5. So light infantry still has a 1.5x multiplier against light cavalry in ranged attack. Nothing has changed. Light infantry have a 0.6x negative multiplier against heavy cavalry in ranged attack. This means light infantry will now deal 0.15x less damage against heavy cavalry in ranged attack. When you multiply 2.5 by 0.5, you get 1.25x. So light infantry would have a 1.25x positive multiplier against ranged shock infantry in ranged attack. Their old multiplier was 2x, now 1.25x. This means light infantry will now deal 0.75x less damage against ranged shock infantry in ranged attack. Light infantry have a 0.5x negative multiplier against hand shock infantry in ranged attack. Their old multiplier was 0.75x, now 0.5x. This means light infantry will now deal 0.25x less damage against hand shock infantry in ranged attack.

Note: Computer data is taken into account. The actual multipliers of the ranged attack of light infantry may be different against heavy cavalry and hand shock infantry. I commented on the multipliers I saw.

thats not how the multipliers work, unless you are completely missing the target.

1.5 is the net multiplier for “Light” Cav

Heavy Cav are only affected by the 0.6 against all cav because that is the only tag that it has that applies to skirm attack

I guess he is trying to say new patch skirm does less damage vs ERK
