Currently I have almost 30 bugs linked in this list of mine. After the patch at the end of october hits, I will check the game to see how many of these bugs are fixed, and make a new list after that.
Doesn’t look too good in terms of bug fixes for the next patch. In the youtube teaser for October Update they announced the fixing of 3-4 bugs only. I hope it’s more.
At least the good thing is that the Wheelbarrow bug is one of the fixed ones.
In my opinion they adressed the most important things that are really relevant
I’d throw in this as the biggest one, player disconnection would matter the most to us I believe. At least 1 player disconnects in team games, making them unplayable

And regarding the disconnects in teamgames, I’m wondering whether to include bugs like that into the report, since they are too general, and there are many causes of it.

Could you add the scenario editor bug that the display timer effect doesn’t work. There are reports abiur dating back until February

Thanks devs for finally fixing defensive buildings’ attack priority. I would consider these two unfixed bugs major ones too:

Meanwhile, noticed a few more bugs: AI going trough houses and walls, AI stalling mid-game, moonwalking villagers on farms.
I feel that late game is lagging more often now, in fact its worse compare to pre patch. the same players I played with assuming their hardware hasn’t changed, with no major background task running, definitely lagging much more often during late game.
a benchmark score of 1000 is enough for 1vs1 but large scale battle of 7-8 players with population of 250 to 300 is simply impossible for people who score lower than 1200.

few things to add and update:

a lot of people I talked to somehow gets extremely offended if you criticize them and they provide little to no details aside from computer specs, after being explained in multiple threads over and over that lag can be caused by multiple variables. Me and another friend even suggested to test play so we can note down the server, game settings etc and non replied.
I’d recommend until more information is provided other than just dxdiag or “my computer is high end” or “never had this issue b4” we treat this not a bug. I have noted down plenty of laggers I played with pre Nov patch and after the hotfix 6/7 of them all became much better.
“Villagers chased by boars will stop and fight if tasked to a different resource”
can probably scratch this one off. someone already posted the reason, villager’s reaction is to either run work or work/fight. so if a player aggro a boar, the vill will fight if it receive another command and try to fight back the boar, or if it finishes walk command and I believe this was the same back in AOK days, the earliest version of age of empires game.
Mod doesn’t update version when joining lobby We still believe mod does not auto update once a player joins lobby while updating. but there maybe another bug that causes the failed lobby forcing a rehost, we are still testing it but it is related to host using “browse lobby” tab while in their own lobby.
Can you add ingame chat not being visible for spectators to the list, please? It does hurt casting FFA/Diplo games a lot. This does heavily influence small/medium streamers like me (who do community games regularly) as well as big tournaments like Koth or RR. Right now im casting from deleting stuff in game in those kinds of games, which does make the map unfair and robs me of spec tools.
could you add that boars stop chasing vils at random for no reason?
Performance is still noticeable worse than before the November patch, even for a lot of expert players, and they did voice their opinion on aoezone as well as on their streams, so I will keep the entry for “performance still bad in tgs”

Regarding the issue where vills fight back vs boars, yes I am aware that it is a legacy bug, all the way from AOK, but I still think it would be a very nice quality of life thing to have if it was fixed. Why would we in 2021 keep the ancient behavior of villagers fighting back vs a Boar when being attacked by it? A villager is never gonna be able to 1v1 a boar, so idk why does the behavior even exist that a vill tries to defend itself from the boar
