List of units that need buffs/reworks [Personal opinion]

ninjas do still beat all age 2 cav and most vet cav, even without the multipliers. I do think 4 pop is oppressive but the unit itself is extremely good at raiding, sieging, snaring, even catching out artillery (400 hp is enough to soak a full falc shot) and obviously tearing though mercs. If they were 2 or 3 pop they would be extremely good. Japan has that 10 ninja x2 shipment age 3 and I use it nearly every game. I should mention that ninjas can even get into combat with strong melee infantry like dopps or halbs age 2 & 3 and still win very easily

Agreed, as I said I messed up the model and I found out that I just put the wrong file reference for a rider, that’s why he was not changing. I do agree with the suggestion though that Comanche should focus on ranged units and provide 2 ranged ones where Cheyenne should provide a melee roster. That’s why I suggested the Comanche Raider as a native rifle rider equivalent. I used Tokala Soldier horse, Comanche Horse Archer model and Rifle Rider gun and animations. Originally, devs wanted to create Comanche Lancer, but they did not and later, Cheyenne Rider came with War Chiefs extension. Having Comanche melee unit would make them probably too close to Cheyenne and they share a few maps, so Raider seems more appropriate. This unit also makes sense having Apache Cavalry on Texas as Raider’s stats are utterly different (heavy units counter, fast rate of fire). I’d say a new variant of painted horse with signs along with some alterations to the rider himself (maybe a little reference like a european vest to accent his raiding character) would be enough.

He had not read the condition about the natives. For well. I suggest that they improve the unit in some way even if they have to increase its price.

I think ninjas and native trackers could get something similar. Maybe they would use bows and not rifles.
