I have been on a custom campaign spree the past few months and I would love if I could find more that I haven’t played before. I would be truly grateful if y’all would post your favorites or some great developers so I could check out their mods.

My absolute favorite was Aegidius by Manu La Capuche; it looked and felt like an actual, official campaign for the Romans civ.
However, for some reason (I’m suspecting the water rework) the SP mod isn’t in my mods list nor the workshop anymore, only the Co-op version is.
He removed it from mods on purpose along with Mehmed the conqueror (his best one imo but also the one you never hear about) cause he wanted to polish it I think (some people were freaking out about it being too difficult or something).
If you’re into mods, you probably already know about Jimakus, basedteuton, catscientist. Those are the ones that keep producing original campaigns and they’re quite well established so you can play all of their works.
Then there’s me but I’m less known and you cannot find many playthroughs on YouTube. I’m in the (long) process of polishing my mods a bit but I didn’t take them down so if you want to try them there are links in the description of my account. Spoiler: they’re tough but not in the grindy sense.

Oh really? Hey, thanks for the info! I couldn’t find anything about what happened to it.
I get that it was hard, but I only really struggled on the 3rd and 5th mission, and I was in the process of figuring out the 5th one when it disappeared from my mod list… I look forward to the polished version!
Just finished every mod they’ve posted or that have been reposted on DE. Really enjoy the build and destroy aspect they put into their mods as well as all the detail.
If you’d link yours I would love to give them a play through. Im blown away by how good some of these mods are.
I actually just finished Mehmed on hard was a fantastic playthrough I haven’t heard about Ageidius though I’ll give it a play through thanks for the info!

If you click on my account name you find all the links, otherwise digit “lorenzomarina” in the mod search bar. They’re not plain build and destroys though, mind you, they’re pretty much their own thing.
Yooo I’ve actually played most of your mods 
incredibly fun, I really enjoy the more in depth decision making you add to them and I really enjoyed your Three Kingdom style in year of the six emperors. I’m gonna go through and see if I missed playing any of them. Thanks for your addition to the game man, again fantastic mods!

I tried the Tomislav one, but I couldn’t understand the first scenario. The gameplay is just too unconventional for my taste.
It’s been a while since I’ve played that mod, I do remember it rewards you for acting quickly. scouting finding side objectives. Pretty sure I had to restart once or twice since I like to play campaigns on hard
