Stealing this suggestion from Boit and posting here for discussion.
Loki’s MU spawn is one of his core features, however it can be hard for players to track and plan when the unit will spawn and which unit will spawn.
For example: If you are ~100 points away from spawning a cave troll when you are about to go on a raid, you may not want to do damage on an enemy hero so the Mu will spawn on them and instantly die. If you see a valk coming you may think this is an excellent time to raid so I can heal after ect.
Suggestion: Provide a UI indicator Similar to Shennong MU Spawn or bushido meter for Loki so players can predict when spawns will happen and which MU is on deck.
This seems like a cool idea, then you realize the only way you are getting fire giant or fafnir is with godi and throwing axemen and now you Just shot yourself in the foot.
Norse doesnt have much options unit wise for it to be viable. Comp wise you wont build either/ do much damage vs archer + calv comps.
Apparently some people deem this OP (but Shenong is totally fine with his ultra deterministic, next age spawn). But I think it should be totally fine to know when and even what you’re gonna spawn next.
This part makes little sense since shennong is predetermined, its not random and its limited in its age. Its also shared in UI function with the other chinese gods.
The thing is right now myth spawns are way too random. one fight I spawned two einheries on top of my throwing axemen. I immediately activated the abbilities they gave me such a boost that I won a fight I should have lost.
and in an other fight I spawned a fafnir right on top of a meele greek hero…. You know that almost feels like a donation to the enemy.
Yea i meant random for the player. I dont think theres a way to make a random mechanic. Its also random spawn in the sense that you dont really know which unit is gonna deal the Last bit of damage to have it spawn next to it. And it spawns mid battle and not from the temple and is open to all ages and not just your current one, or next one in shennongs case.
