Flying Hero: Most certainly Icarus, but could be his father Deadalus, though I doubt that. I guess it’s the Mythic Age Hero, since those have special abilities but could be Heroic Age also, but I can’t see a possible weapon.
Upright walking wolf: Possibly a werewolf, I found while quickly searching myths about wolves the myth about King Lycaon, but I don’t know. I have no clue which Minor god it will be tied to.
Tree-Nymph: Very fitting for Demeter, but which Minor God will it be tied to? My bets on Persephone as she is the closest link to Demeter.
Large Feast: Possibly a GP, possibly a referece to Erisichthon a King who sold all his belongings, including his daughter Mestra to satsify his bottomless hunger. Which is a curse Demeter arranged for him after he had one of her favorite Dryad/Trees cut down.
The webstore calls the hero Icarus, the werewolf Lycaon alpha and the tree maiden Hamadryad. The building is also referres as a hearth which is related to Hestia.
My guess is
Hestia - Lycaon (alpha probably is an upgrade) and hearth GP or unique building
Perspehone - Sirens
Pan - Hamadryad

Now about Demeter/the stuff shared today:
My initially thoughts about the ingame shot on steam were:
love the temple building
love the oven building and wonder what this means
myth units surprised me really hard. didn’t expexted any of those to be honest. (really hoped and thought gryphon would come)
but i really like the new myth ideas objectively (just not the biggest fan of the angel/icarus one reminds me too much of Caladria - yet)
i needed a couple of closer looks and i REALLY like Nymph/Hamadryads visualisaiton/look! really sedcutive,menacing, creative and cool!
i assume Hamadryad or Sirene will be mythic age?
My initially thoughts on Demeter portrait:
i like the grain-crown and golden hair
i like her pose now when i add her body to the pose of the face its a cool perspective
i hope this is not the ingame portrait cause the face and the not glowing eyes just look a bit off
no glowing eyes when all other major gods of greeks have glowing eyes (?)
EDIT: i made a suggestion image out of your overall cool template and how she would look better and more fitting in the greek major god line-up. (other thread)
Maybe you are right. Not sure why they would choose Icarus as a myth unit tho when there are so many better and cooler choices.

I assume here you are definitely right. High chance its called Lycaon and i think this one is my most favourite.
Really hoped to see something like this a tree/forest spirit/Nymph (beside Gryphon). So really happy about this one. Really like the overall aesthetic and sensual touch! but somehow this unit looks the least finished to me cause oif the arms and legs (especially the legs) but i like the sensual but partly overgrown human part, the “coat/crown” out of flowers/roots
So the oven building is a GP that actually makes much sense! Love the idea!

oh snap my fault! Icarus is not a myh unit but a hero! now THATS cool! really like the idea! was scared for a second he was a myth unit choice. x) but then one myth unit is missing! My hopes for Gryphon are rising again like Icarus to the skye and beyond!
Also i just saw the statue of Demeter and the unit portrait of siren and they both look absolutely beautiful! Absolutely amazing job! Still not sure about the Demeter portraits face/eyes tho x)

Icarus and Lycaon were appearently good guesses and the Hamadryad I missed the name of, I should have known that one.
What I suspected being a feast being a hearth was not quite what I expected, shouldn’t the Hearth be indoors? It possibly being a constructable unique building is something I haven’t considered, probably because Helios is the only one currently. Will it be like a bank from AoE3 but with food?
Sounds plausable too, but the website made it sound as if the Siren was Demeters Myth unit. In that case replacing the Pegasi?
wait a second this badass looking siren will be a scout? I mean Japan has a beautiful cool scout too but pegasus was and is so fitting why replace it? EDIT: no, i think Siren will be a docks unit!
But at the moment all cool showns additions aside none of them rings the bell of mythic age myth unit to me.
Lycan - classical age
Nymph - heroic age Siren - mythic age with Persephone
i like the units and the overall style direction very much but there is one big unit missing. for example:
Freyr got
Draugr (smaller spammable unit like Siren or Lycan could be)
Rockgiant (big unit but not as big as colosssus or -
Fafnir (very big unit)
I don’t think every new god pack needs a giant myth unit… but some bigger would be nice/cool. at the moment Nymph looks the biggest to me and could be a great mythic age unit i assume, but what heroic age then? Lycan? Lycan suits the minotaur, centraur classical age theme more in my opinion.
It’s a werewolf or it could be a spawn of cerberus (since he is looking a bit like him, maybe on purpose) with Persephone since she is queen of erebus half the year.
Just a funny ‘‘theory’’, I think it’s logical for Persephone to get sirens too, especially since they said they were close with her in myths.
Icarius is almost sure as hero here. I think we have others options : Phobos / Deimos / Pollux / Nestor / Aeneas / Hector / Paris / Orpheus / Agamemnon / Atreus / Eurydice / Helen / Oedipus / Ariane / Andromeda / Aegeus / Cassiopeia / Dedalus / Actaeon / Midas, etc…
Dedalus is probably unlikely if Icarius is there, same for Agamemnon (campaign exclusive ?) and trojans heroes. Some are more likely than others.
I think it would have been cool to have a gryffon as a MU yep. The idea of nymph + siren + werewolf (linked to lycaon myth I think yeah) is nice. Not sure if they should call siren ‘‘harpy’’ but technically it’s kind of similar.
The shrine is for sure a god power or a demeter special tech that allow her to upgrade/build another building ?
you are right, i corrected myself. i mean i can partly explain why i had this idea but i know think very differently and understand you and others, just makes much more sense.
i think sirene will be either a “lampedes/medusa” (relative fragile but with power-attack/manipulation) for mythic age unit OR a “tengu” (flying with melee) for heroic age. - and you obviously get her with Persephone.
i assume cause more pics will be added when ready. i think its all still WIP and since Demeter is the first to being released she has the most finished content and to get an idea what her content is this image was shared. Really certain more images will get shared when being ready. But a few more pics of Demeter (like about two more to make it three total) would have been really nice/helpful also to get to see the units from another perspective.
