I remembered back then when i got my installment of AOE2, there was this weird custom scenario that was present in my game. I forgot the exact name but it had something to do with “Trials”, “Champion”, or “Gladiator” in it. It was very weird because i will immediately lose whenever i tried starting the scenario.
If i remembered correctly, you start with a singular champion that is surrounded by a huge, dense clutter of random buildings. Everytime i lost, i would try and spectate the map but i cannot understand what the objective of the scenario was because i would only see a dense sea of randomly scattered buildings with seemingly no purpose.
I played this scenario way back when i was a kid, around the early 2000s. I don’t understand anything about aoe2 other than the basics so i don’t know what im supposed to do. If anyone could help me locate the exact scenario or what type of scenario it could be, that would be great.
