Main menu background is downloading automatically multiple times, and each time I attempt to remove them, they multiply like gremlins

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Remove menu background
  2. Get more unlimited

Did you remove it from the folder or did you just disable it?

If i try to disable they come back in numbers.

Came to the forum to report this same bug. I have the exact same issue:

The mod duplicates just show up one day, place themselves in random priority slots and don’t leave.

I’ve counted twenty-six of the exact same mod, and I can’t unsubscribe from any of them; I can only untick.

This has happened before with other official main menu mods, such as those from events like the Villager event & Spicy Expeditions, but granted I don’t have evidence for those past events.

You guys need to fix this.

Additionally, you should not have permission to install mods on my copy of the game. I don’t want any new main menu background. They all look dorky.

I have the bug too. You should fix this very fast!

Aside from this, the official menu background could not be unsubscribed for a certain time period, every time a new event came up. Looks like a bug to me.
