Make AI reconize Wonders as a threath?

Hi, im just abit sad as an really old aoe fan. since the time the first game came out, i have enjoyed the fact that if i built a wonder in aoe rise of rome all of the AI shifted their focus on destroying it AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. as much as i love aoe 2 de right now i feel that. AI simply does not care if you build a wonder or 10. They will simply accsept their demise and lose without a fight. WOuld there be a way to program the AI to focus on a wonder that is beeing built or already up. I really miss the thrill of trying to survive the AI onslaught of trying to get my wonder. :smiley: … Honestly i think i need to find a pentium 2 machine and boot up old Age of empires rise of rome… :smiley: to get that nostalgic feel :frowning: … i was hyped to playe age DE but the AI there doesnt care about the Wonders aswell :frowning: …

Simply wondering if anyone else feels the same way?

Does it depend on the difficulty?
Im sure the hard AI focuses the Wonder if you selected “Standard” Victory

Yep, this. If you go for a Relic or Wonder victory on “Standard” victory condition, the AI usually tries to stop that.

Well waddaya know ;o an Attempt on my monastery was made :stuck_out_tongue: i sopose its time to play “standard” more. but ive noticed that they resign more easily on standard… :smiley: haha

You can use the taunts 104 or 105 to disallow/allow resigning Just make sure that your chat options is set to “enemies” or “everyone” If you dont want the AI to resign

For real? i can make AI resign with a command? :smiley: Wow stuff has changed. I will for sure use 104 in future games. Definately writing that down, Thanks!

You dont make them resign but If you disallow resigning with 104 they will never resign, 105 Just reverts it back to “normal” resigning behaviour.

Okay, got it! thats awesome ill def test it out! =p I hope same command works on AI in multiplayer games.

It should, Just remember that by default your chat messages can only be seen by Allies.
And maybe you should google aoe2 taunts, there are quite a few of them
