Make some defence available in game already in Editor

For Goths and other civs limited to palisade, it seems strange that there’s no access to the Fortified Palisade.
It could be an upgrade from the existing “Fortified Wall” - tech.

Also - it seems strange to me, that at least 2 units cannot garrison and shoot from the Outpost (there’s even a ladder!) .
If I remember correctly there’s a fortified one…

Likely that the scenairo editor kinda limits the civs available building.

Poles cannot build mill at all, even.

Give us wooden forts too.

Kinda like Kreposts for every architecture?

Yes, - and no.
I don’t about his take on it, but when I thought about it on Steam, it was a… Kind of a “castle, but for Feudal Age”.
A…Palisade… Fortress… Fortress are in the editor, at least once they were.

A… Palisade Castle with 2 or 3 arrows (Outlook tower 1 arrow, Fortified 2). Arrowslits, murder holes and Crenelations were found on such.
Fewer garrisons than castle, maybe a unit. Some techs (those that made sense).

Later upgradable to Stone Fortress (from the editor) or a building of its own. Nevertheless hirelings were purchased here, - or in the castle.

Krepost is a stone building and has it’s own hirelings…

Trash fortresses that shoot 2 arrows.

I had proposed a proto-castle available from feudal that cost 350 stone and have more or less the same stats and attack restrictions than a TC (only fire arrows when is garrisoned). 1 minimum range and 10 garrisone space.

Once in Castle Age, each proto-castle can be converted individually into a regular castle for 400 stone and 60 research time.

Well, if one wants to be limited to Feudal and for certain civs like Goths, it would complete the theme.
The Roman legions were known to build other wooden structures than the camps, so this would fit nicely.

Great idea.
At first I was a little opposed to it costing stone, it is supposed to be a cheap and somewhat weak “castle”.
Then again, it needs a sturdy foundation and a defence structures should always cost if only a few stones.

I would make it 150 stones, 400 wood.
