Make Turk trash cost no food?

With Turks only having spearmen and skirmishers make them at least cheaper in some regards. I heard the reason the Turks don’t get good trash since they are slave soldiers, so make them fight for food.

Now, at the very least turks can spam cheap trash to keep the enemy busy while their real units are protected by their walls of garbage units.

Or make them cost only Food.

I suppose the long term the farm investment would make it a bit more fair since the turks could just chop wood to make units.

Not really, since you will need to mass Hussars anyway, so you are already likely to go for a lot of Farms.
